25.jpg

Dental Retainers are usually worn after braces treatment is completed. This is for the main purpose of providing the teeth with added support after the removal of braces. This is recommended based on the Orthodontist’s professional advice and on the patient’s need. Without the use of retainers there will be a tendency that the teeth will relapse. There are different types of retainers which include: The Hawley retainer which enclosed by an acrylic plate shaped. The Essix retainer which is the same with Invisalign trays, and lastly the Bonded retainer that is permanently fixed to the lingual side of the teeth.
